I recently purchased some Audubon Park Sunflower Hearts online. I usually buy my bird seed in-person, but I was really busy and in a pinch. After using the seed for a few weeks, I’m ready to declare that it’s one of the best bird seeds I’ve purchased on Amazon (and I’ve bought my fair share since starting bird feeding in 2020).
I’ve always been a fan of sunflower chips for bird feeding. Sunflower is one of the best things to offer for the widest variety of birds at your feeders (more on that later). But, for a slightly higher price point, sunflower chips also eliminate the mess of leftover shells in your yard. This is essential for me, as I live in an apartment development.

When I purchased the Audubon Sunflower Chips, the price was right around $19 for the five pound bag, on-par or lower-priced than many other sunflower chips on the website (this is all subject to change).
I currently have this seed in two tube feeders, but it will be great in any type of bird feeder. It’s been incredibly popular! Here’s a full listing of the types of birds that enjoy sunflower chips below.
